Our Mission

At Project MAC, our mission is to empower adults with diverse abilities through meaningful and engaging programs in music, arts, and communication. As a DDD-approved vendor in New Jersey, we bring together a team with extensive experience in this field, who understand the importance of creating programming that is not only impactful but also fun and inclusive. We aim to set ourselves apart by collaborating with individuals and their caregivers to design activities tailored to their unique needs and preferences. At Project MAC, everyone is celebrated, supported, and part of our family.

MARC CAPONI: CEO/FOUNDER

Marc Caponi, a retired police officer, founded Project MAC to create opportunities for adults with special needs to learn, grow, and connect. With seven years of experience working in this field, Marc is dedicated to building a nurturing space where individuals are celebrated and supported.

DANA GARDNER: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dana Gardner has worked in the Social and Human Services field since 2005. She is passionate about helping individuals with disabilities achieve independence and happinessthrough community inclusion. With extensive experience in case management and nonprofit work, Dana is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment at Project MAC.

RANDI MELTZER: CO-FOUNDER

As a mom to a child with special needs, Randi co-founded Project MAC to provide meaningful opportunities for adults in the community. Her personal journey fuels her passion for creating a space where individuals can explore new skills, build confidence, andthrive.

ATIBA PAGE: Lead Instructor /Chief Innovation Officer

Atiba Page is a global advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with extensive experience in bridging communities and corporate spaces. A Stage IV cancer thriver, Atiba believes in the power of resilience and giving back. She brings her passion for connection and inclusion to the Project MAC team.

MAX RESNICK: INSTRUCTOR

Max Resnick is a lifelong musician and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for inspiring others through music. As a bass player for the band We’re Ghosts Now, Max has toured thecountry and remains active in the Asbury Park music scene. He believes everyone can discover their inner musician and loves sharing the joy of making music with others.
